I love inspiring quotes. I'm a sap. But this one didn't make sense to me:
"Shoot for the moon. even if you miss, you'll land among the stars..."
Am I missing something?
I think of different people when I read these, and sometimes myself.
1. the path is not straight
2. mistakes need not be fatal
3. people are more important than achievements or possessions
4. be gentle with your parents
5. never stop doing what you care most about
6. learn to use a semicolon
7. you will find love
"Never let the odds keep you from doing what you know in your heart you were meant to do!" -H. Jackson Brown Jr.
"The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past worry about the future, or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly."
"The great opportunity is where you are. every place is under the stars. Every place is the center of the universe."
- john burroughs
"Never, never, never give up.
"It is never too late to be what you might have been."
"Finish each day and be done with it. you have done what you could. some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. tomorrow is a new day. you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."
- ralph waldo emerson
"Do one thing every day that scares you."
"Do what you can where you are with what you have."
"Leap and the net will appear."
and one that's untrue, but I like it:
"Everything will be okay in the end. if it's not okay, it's not the end."
